Travel that actually means something

Two things shape every Liti360 journey — the people who host you and the path you walk. We don't do tourist-trap, tick-the-box trips. We do real, slow, soul-deep Himalaya.

Kumaoni local culture and community life near Liti360
🤝 Community focus

Hosted by the mountain, not a hotel chain

Liti360 is run with the village, not just in it. Your guides, cooks and helpers are Kumaoni neighbours — born on these ridges, fluent in every shortcut, story and shortcut-to-a-better-view. The veggies on your plate were pulled from a field down the slope that morning. When you stay with us, your trip quietly funds local jobs, family farms and the kids' school run. That's the whole vibe: good for you, good for the people who call this home.

  • Local guides & porters who grew up on these trails
  • Farm-to-table food sourced from neighbouring homes
  • Real jobs & income that stay in the valley
  • Festivals, folk songs & recipes shared first-hand

It's less "10 sights in 3 days" and more slow, present, main-character travel — the kind you actually remember.

  • Flexible, private & fully-inclusive — built around you
  • Walk at your pace, change the plan anytime
  • Permits, transfers, meals & stays handled for you

On the trail

The ambiance of the trek

There's a rhythm that takes over a few hours into the walk — boots on stone, breath and birdcall, the slow reveal of a glacier around a ridge. Rhododendron forests give way to open kharaks; a river becomes a whisper far below. By the time you reach camp, phone forgotten, you're somewhere your everyday self rarely gets to go: fully, simply present.

The location

Far enough to feel away

Liti sits high in the folds of Kumaon — Shama, Kapkot, District Bageshwar — about 36 km beyond the last town, where the road narrows and the air thins and clears. Close enough to reach in a day from Haldwani, remote enough that the loudest thing you'll hear is the wind. This is real Himalaya: working villages, terraced fields, and the white wall of the high peaks always on the horizon.

The peace

Come back to quiet

No horns. No notifications fighting for your attention. Just long mornings, slow meals, a book you finally finish, and nights so dark the Milky Way feels close enough to touch. People arrive tired and leave lighter — that's the real luxury of Liti360.
